Tiffany Higgins, Franchisee

Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teacher’s Association.

Dancing from an early age, with a background in different styles of dance, she was a performer with Troupe Allegro at Moorhead State University, MN, 1995-1996. Bachelor of Science in Business Management/Marketing from Valley City State University, ND 1999. Top Teacher Tournament of Champions 2001. Top Specialist Tournament of Champions 2003. Arthur Murray Worldwide Top Twenty Specialist 2003-04, and Top Twenty Executive 2005 to the present. Top Counselor New Student Challenge 2006-2009.

Tiffany is so thrilled to be celebrating Arthur Murray’s 100 year anniversary! She loves being in the studio, having fun with the students, traveling, and competing.

Justin McClendon, Franchisee

Certified Member Instructor, World Dance Teachers Association. Bronze Master and Associate Silver Certification. Arthur Murray Studios International Top Twenty Instructors 2007-2010.

Prior to joining Arthur Murray, Justin, a California native, spent 10 years in the world of musical theatre. An accomplished vocalist, he spent two years touring the nation with The Young Americans, teaching dance and vocal technique to kids of all ages, as well as promoting music education in schools. He was a featured soloist at the Fullerton Jazz Festival in 1999, as well as on the Queen Mary, in 2004-05 starring in “Tibbie’s Great American Cabaret.” Justin’s favorite roles include “Annie” (Bert Healy; featured dancer; dance captain) “Bye, Bye, Birdie” (featured dancer); and “Mary Poppins” (Bert; choreographer).

2008 Future Champion Division Winner, World Dance-O-Rama Las Vegas with partner, Allison Smith. Justin brings his open-mindedness, passion for music, and theatrical approach to our studio which makes his teaching style refreshing and most enjoyable.

Lynn Sevick, Franchisee

World Professional Dance Teachers Association, Certified Dual Fellow Examiner. Member of ISTD and NDCA.

Lynn was raised in Oslo, Norway, and also started her very successful dancing career there. Lynn went on, not only to become a finalist in the United States Open Rhythm Championships, but also to win the title of United States Rising Star Rhythm Champion. Lynn has won many awards in national competitions as a Top Pro/AM Teacher, and has produced many Top Students as well. She was also a former Franchisee of the Arthur Murray Dance Center in Severna Park, Maryland.

She is the proud mother of her 15 year old son, Cody, who not only speaks multiple languages, but also loves soccer and dreams of becoming a professional skateboarder.

Vicki Venka, Franchisee

vicki World Professional Dance Teachers Association, Certified Dual Doctorate Examiner. Member of ISTD and NDCA.

Born and raised in Oslo, Norway, Vicki is one of the most revered names in the Arthur Murray Organization. After Vicki became Norwegian Standard and Latin Champion, she went on to become 2-time Western United States Standard and Latin Champion as well. As one of the co-authors of the Arthur Murray Syllabus, Vicki received the Arthur Murray Dance Development Award. She was also the first Arthur Murray ‘All-American’ Teacher Champion.

She is an amazing instructor and coach, and to many teachers and students across the country, she is a favorite!


Adam Certified Member Instructor, World Dance Teachers Association. Bronze Advanced and Associate Silver Certification.

Since joining the Arthur Murray Family, Adam has consistently appeared on the Top 20 Honor Roll and received countless Star Performance Awards during Tournament of Champions, International Dance Festival, and Global Teaching Challenge. Adam says, “I started dancing in the womb”. His dance background includes Tap, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop/Breakdancing, and of course, Social and Competitive Ballroom. He has been instructing and choreographing Dance for over 20 years.

Adam is an accomplished Musician, Vocalist and Theater Actor. He has performed professionally in dance shows, pageants, parades, musicals, concerts and benefits across the US. He believes that “Whatever happens in Las Vegas, happens at Arthur Murray”.

Joni Stevens, Instructor/Coach

joni Joni’s Arthur Murray life began at age 16 as a student. In September 1979, she began her Teacher Training in Salt Lake City, Utah. She taught in Salt Lake City for several years and won numerous awards as a Specialist and Teacher.

After a few years she moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she completed her Adjudicator Certification at the age of 21 and won awards for Top Counselor and Top Specialist. In 1984 she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to become the Dance Director and Co-Franchisee for several years then retired from Arthur Murray to raise her daughter, Alexis.

Joni returned to us a few years ago and brings a wealth of knowledge and technique with her three decades of dance experience. Joni writes our newsletter: “The Waltz Street Journal” and Monthly Calendar, organizes our monthly Saturday evening Themed Parties, host our monthly “Champagne Guest Parties, and has published many “I-Mixes” on iTunes.

She takes great delight in teaching and coaching the students and staff. Joni teaches by appointment on Sunday afternoons, loves all of the students, and is highly spirited – perhaps one of our most outrageous personalities!

Angela Perez, New Student Director

angela Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Full Bronze Certification.

Angela was born and raised in California. Her background in dancing includes Hip Hop, Ballroom, Latin and Swing dancing, but her greatest love is West Coast Swing. She currently competes with Jonnathan and has been a semi-finalist in American-style Rhythm (Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero and Mambo) and a finalist in West Coast Swing at Arthur Murray competitions and West Coast Swing events. In 2011, Angela was a semi-finalist in Open Professional Salsa and in 2012 placed 5th in Future Champions Smooth (Waltz and Tango). As New Student Counselor, Angela loves helping newcomers achieve their personal goals and was awarded Top New Student Director in the Southwest region in 2013!

In her spare time Angela loves going to the gym, yoga, ballet and jazz dancing. She also enjoys playing pool, Rubik’s cubing, ice skating, snowboarding, bowling, the outdoors and going on adventures with her friends.

Dianne Bizzarro, Instructor

diane Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Full Bronze Certification.

Born into a family of entertainers, Dianne has travelled and performed all over the United States, Canada, South America and Australia. She has an extensive background in ballet, jazz, and modern dancing, and was an instructor at the Barbizon School of Modeling where she taught runway, acting, and etiquette classes. She toured Hawaii on Princess Cruise Lines performing in the magic show and as a dancer.

Dianne currently competes in American-style Rhythm (Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero and Mambo) with her professional partner Ray Guzman. In July 2014, Dianne and Ray became Arthur Murray Salsa Champions, taking first place at the largest competition in Arthur Murray history. Together they have also placed in the top 3 in the Open Professional Rhythm competition.

Dianne loves Argentine Tango and Lindy Hop, and has a special passion for the some of the more traditional ballroom dances such as the Waltz, Foxtrot and American Tango. She really enjoys choreographing fun routines for her students and wedding couples. What gives her the most happiness is sharing the joy of dance and creating happy, fun experiences on the dance floor.

Andrew Higgins, Instructor

andrew Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Full Bronze Certification.

Andrew grew up in England, graduating with honors in Journalism at Liverpool John Moores University. After traveling the world for a year, he moved to Las Vegas in 2009. As a junior instructor Andrew competed in and won the Future Champions division in Smooth (Waltz and Tango) and Rhythm (Cha Cha and Rumba) at the 2012 Washington National Dance-O-Rama with partner Dianne Bizzarro. His favorite dances are the jazzy Foxtrot and the lively Samba, but he enjoys it most when a student is learning their own favorite dance.

In his spare time Andrew enjoys reading, cooking and playing the guitar.

Ray Guzman, Instructor


Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association, Full Bronze Certification.

Ray comes to us from Cuba! Having trained in “Escuela Nacional de Danza” in Havana, Cuba, he has danced professionally in Ballet, Modern and Contemporary, Adagio, Latin, Ballroom, and Spanish Flamenco. He appeared in the Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, and performed and competed in “Salsa Festival and Championship” in Miami.

Dancing in Fuego, Havana Nights, and Raw Talent live in Las Vegas, he also toured with Havana Nights around the world. Ray received a silver medal in the Lyon Dance Festival in Lyon, France. Ray is bi-lingual, speaking fluent Spanish and English.

Jonnathan De Gracia, Instructor


Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Associate Bronze Certification.

Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Jonnathan moved to Las Vegas to pursue his passion in the entertainment industry. His background is diverse in many ways, ranging from being a corporate entertainer and speaker to a magician for major Las Vegas hotels.

Beginning his career as an Arthur Murray student, his dance qualifications include social and competitive Ballroom, Latin, and Swing dancing. Competing with his partner Angela Perez, he has been a finalist in Arthur Murray Open Professional West Coast Swing and Rising Star Rhythm competitions. At other events, he took 3rd place in Strictly West Coast Swing and was a ‘Jack and Jill’ West Coast Swing finalist.

Sidney Herbert, New Student Director


Certified Member Instructor, World Professional Dance Teachers Association. Associate Bronze Certification.

Sidney Luis Herbert, born and raised in New York City, NY has always had a passion for dance and latin rhythms. This may be because of his Dominican heritage. Growing up in the “Big Apple”, Sidney studied human services at New York City College of Technology all while working full time as a youth counselor for the YMCA. He later joined the Military and served 6 years with the United States Army Reserves. After the military he relocated to Las Vegas Nevada.

Sidney was introduced to Arthur Murray Dance Studios which changed his life forever. He studied as a student at Arthur Murray Las Vegas for about 2 years and achieved the Full Bronze level. As a student, Sidney received ‘Top Newcomer Solo’ at Superama. As an instructor, he was a semi finalist in the ‘Future Champs

Rhythm’ competition and placed 2nd in the Unique Dance-o-Rama Future Champs Rhythm’ competition In Irvine California

Today Sidney loves sharing his passion for dance with all students socially and competitively. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Make sure you ask Sidney to lead you in a little “Latin Hustle” !

Kelly Nelson, Events Coordinator

kelly Kelly is an integral part of our team here at Arthur Murray Las Vegas. Before joining the team, she took lessons for several years as a student, achieving certifications through Silver. She loves to dance all styles, especially Swing and West Coast Swing. In 2013, Kelly was named the Top Administrative Assistant in Area 7, and went on to earn 2nd place with the Area 7 team in the 2013 All Star Tournament. Make sure you grab a dance with this talented lady!

Vanna Kong, Instructor

vanna Vanna was born in Thailand, and raised in Long Beach, CA. At the age of 5, Vanna was introduced to social dancing at weddings! In her teens, she started performing traditional Cambodian classical ballet. Since then, she has never stopped being an entertainer! Vanna came to Las Vegas for a change of scenery, as well as to continue her college studies in music business. Since then, she has never stopped being an entertainer! She would like to thank Arthur Murray for giving her the opportunity to become a Certified Dance Instructor. She loves being around the students in the studio, and has aspirations of becoming a coach one day!

Manoela Campos, Instructor

Manoela Manoela was born and raised in Rio de Janiero, Brazil and has been dancing since she was a little girl. She won her first competition in Lambada at age 13. For nine years, she was an instructor at Danca de Salao and taught Samba, Bolero, and Salsa. While there, she was also on a dance team that traveled around Rio performing the Samba de Gafiera. She taught elders and handicapped individuals, as well as volunteered as a dance teacher for children with cancer. In her early twenties, she danced at Carnaval eery year until she left Brazil for Las Vegas. She became a Pilates instructor, but was so passionate about dancing that she left that job and joined Arthur Murray as an instructor. She is now fully dedicated to dance, and is so excited to be a part of this team.

Manoela is very active and in addition to pilates, she also enjoys sports, Jiu-Jitsu and Capoiera.

Maybelline Ramos, Instructor

Maybelline Certified Member Instructor, Associate Bronze Certification

Maybelline began performing at a young age dancing in her school’s show choir. At age 13 she began ballroom dancing and knew she wanted to be a teacher one day. She was 1st runner up at the World Superama 2015 competition for her lindy hop routine, and placed 3rd and 5th place at world Danceorama 2015 dancing in rhythm and smooth categories. She currently is competing in the rhythm division with her professional partner Sidney. She loves Latin and west coast swing dancing, and is passionate about teaching people to dance all styles.

Maybelline enjoys taking theatre and magic classes in her spare time.

Laura Cordova, Administrative Assistant

Laura Laura was born and raised in Las Vegas. She took ballet, pointe, jazz, and modern dance at Fern Adair Conservatory of the Arts in her teens and was on her high school dance team. She got an accounting degree from UNLV, but decided to not pursue that career path and has worked in a variety of industries. She lived in Austin, Texas for over two years where she learned aerial silks and worked as an actress in film, television, and commercials. Laura became interested in ballroom dancing after watching the first few seasons of Dancing with the Stars and is thrilled to work for and learn from Arthur Murray!

In addition to her love of dance, Laura practices yoga, loves hiking and biking, and hopes to one day be an expert Argentine Tango dancer.

Daisy Balagtas, Administrative Assistant

Daisy Daisy Balagtas came to the United States for a well earned vacation but instead found herself loving it after nearly thirty five years of HR practice in her native Philippines. While in the Philippines, she worked for various multinational and international companies and organization locally and out of the country as well. She graduated with Biology degree from UP and earned a degree in Psychology and Bachelor of Laws from another Philippine university. While in the US she earned her Certificate in Paralegal through a correspondence course.

Prior to coming to Las Vegas, she was living in California and worked for a Property Management Company and an online women’s apparel store where she honed her skills in Customer Service.
